January Scholarship Trip

Volunteers and staff of Living Hope for Honduras talk with young people who are prospective recipients of scholarship awards to help then with their education.

Four days, seven churches, and 299 scholarship interviews makes for a full week! What a great trip we had with new and returning volunteers too. They all worked hard and enjoyed the ministry of learning about education in Honduras, meeting the students, and visiting the communities that Living Hope serves.

It's all part of the important process of providing education to these amazing young people. Few other initiatives are more important than the opportunities opened through gaining an education. We are blessed to be a part of this for those we serve.

It was great playing host to new volunteers Beau Pedigo, Jensen Barnett, and Jake Jacobson from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In addition we had First Baptist on the Square members Frank Pruitt and Sarah Hershey join us and Danielle Gravley's friend Debbie Jenks, who lives in Wisconsin. The group was rounded out with Jan, Carolyn, Deanna, and Annalea, who are all scholarship trip veterans!
